Is Pan Am finally dead?

Occasionally I get to write a news item on Gadling. I just couldn't pass this one up. You can't imagine a more pilot bashing, union busting, corner cutting airline than the 'new' Pan Am, or Boston and Maine Airways as they're called now. Or were.

I remember when a saw a picture of a 727 in the Pan Am livery and when a saw the date was only a couple of years ago, I did a double take, thinking the Pan Am name and logo when the "original" Pan Am collapsed in 1991. After a bit of research it turned out that this was an aircraft of Boston and Maine Airways.
